The Foreign Police Department of the Bratislava Police Force will move to a new address - Račianska 62, 831 02 Bratislava (Nové Mesto). The change is related to the construction of a new national hospital at the current location in Vajnory. For foreigners living and working in Slovakia, as well as for companies employing foreign workers, this is important practical information that needs to be taken into account when planning visits to this office.
The reason for the move is a large-scale investment project to build a new national hospital, which is to be built on land in Bratislava's Vajnory - the place where the Aliens Police Department was previously located. The state decided to free up this space for medical infrastructure, and the Aliens Police received new, more modern premises in the Nové Mesto district of the city.
The move is not just a technical change of address - the new workplace also brings better accessibility by public transport, more parking spaces and modernized premises, which should shorten waiting times and improve comfort during processing.

For foreigners residing or in the process of obtaining a residence permit in Slovakia, a change of address is essential. The extended office hours (from 7:30 to 16:00) will also allow a visit for those who have to combine a meeting with work obligations.
